FBC has procedures specifically designed to monitor the accuracy of our network of record retrievers who perform the background checks. Over the years FBC has developed a file of thousands of of individuals having felony and misdemeanor convictions. A FBC procedure, know as Salt and Pepper, requires our management team, on a periodic basis, to include several of these names within the retrievers' workloads. In another quality control procedure, referred to as Belt and Suspenders, FBC gives identical requests to multiple record retrievers and compares their results prior to sending the background report to the client.
